We’re getting closer to the release of JOYRIDE and it seems like Tinashe is everywhere right now. Which isn’t a bad thing because we love seeing her get her shine, plus at times it means that we get a new spread with sexy pics from the R&B singer.
In her spread for NYLON Magazine, she talked a little about why she likes to be alone and doesn’t go out much during her free time, why she’s taken time to focus on herself and her career after her last relationship, how much she wants to be in love (she doesn’t feel like she’s ever fully been in love) and recalls memories of her parents or friends helping her shoot videos.
“I don’t feel like I’ve fully been in love. Someone will break my heart and I’ll write Adele’s 21 right over again. When you’re younger you think about love a lot, like, ‘I can’t wait to have a boyfriend. I can’t wait to be in love. I’m gonna write a bunch of songs about it.’ That was me. But that’s not my focus anymore. I find myself writing a lot more about being underestimated.”
