If you haven’t noticed, T.I. is now going by TIP full-time and although it’s still hard to call him that (or we’re not quite used to it yet), it’s just something we’re all going to have to accept. In his visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he was asked about the name change and why he originally chose T.I. in the first place.
Aside from the rap, he also talked about his experience joining the protests in New York City at the Trump Tower after Donald Trump was elected president. He said he was at the studio just around the corner and there wasn’t as much fan fare from him being there as you’d expect, but the 12,000 people on hand (or at least those who saw him) appreciated his presence there.
His reasoning for going was because he wanted to show his children that he did everything under the constitution to fight against what he may not agree with.
His Us Or Else EP is out now.
