It’s hard to believe, but British cult classic Trainspotting turned 20 years old this year. Director Danny Boyle has decided to return to his second ever film with a sequel, set to arrive in theaters January 27th, 2017.
The original cast of Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Ewen Bremner and Jonny Lee Miller all return for the movie, which you can see in the new teaser trailer above. Let’s hope it’s a sequel to remember and does the original justice. Iggy Pop’s “Lust for Life” is back as the introduction.
This will Boyle’s first film since the Academy Award-nominated Steve Jobs just last year.
