Last year, Transformers: Age of Extinction became the highest grossing film of the entire 2014 racking in over a $1 billion in revenue. Now Hasbro, Inc. is planning to expand the Transformers Cinematic Universe beyond Transformers 5 in 2017.
With the Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover still in the works, Hasbro chief Steven J. Davis has confirmed that the popular 3D science fiction action film will see four more sequels. Paramount pictures is readying Transformers 6, 7, and 8, alongside sequels and spin-offs down the line.
