Tyrese‘s music career is coming to an end and The Black Book is the last chapter. After releasing his Black Rose album, the short film was the last piece of the puzzle.
The R&B veteran has premiered his film on Easter Sunday after teasing it for a few weeks and not only does it have message, but it also uses a few songs from the album to get the point across.
V. Bozeman stars in The Black Book and the 25-minute film uses three songs from Tyrese’s latest album: “Can’t Break Me,” Waiting On You” and the Tank-featured “Prior To You.” Ty used elements from the classic movie The Notebook, with a couple celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary and looking back at a relationship filled with ups and downs. Even through domestic abuse, the movie moves forward and tells the story of love, forgiveness and growing old together.
