Thanks to a Kickstarter fundraiser campaign last year, Rob Thomas’ comedy-crime-drama series Veronica Mars will officially get a proper farewell this spring. The series was abruptly cancelled during 2007 and left many fans (including ourselves) puzzled regarding its future. Coincidentally, this marks the 10-year high school reunion for Mars within the shows time-span, with the movie avoiding a similar delayed situation the American Reunion film encountered.
The always lovely Kristen Bell takes a break from her antics on SHOWTIME’s House of Lies to leave her hometown of Neptune SoCal and look for a fresh start in the big apple as an attorney. That however isn’t the case, as she’s forced to reprise her private investigator role and solve a murder mystery she wishes didn’t happen.
Look for Veronica Mars in theaters worldwide on March 14, 2014.
