EMPIRE season 2 just got a whole lot better!
We’re just two weeks away from the most anticipated fall series on TV, EMPIRE. After becoming FOX Network’s biggest debut ever last winter, the hip-hop drama gained a cult-like following – largely contributed to social media. With the season premiere for its sophomore year set to premiere in just under two weeks, more news emerges on another celebrity making an appearance.
However, this won’t be a cameo, as Vivica A. Fox has signed on to join the show this year as Cookie’s sister. Not to be confused with the boss bitch’s other sister Carol (portrayed by Tasha Smith), Vivica can be expected around episode 8 during climatic changes of the show. With a spin-off reportedly in the works as well, we’re sure this isn’t the only relative from Cookie’s family we’ll fall in love with.
Look for EMPIRE’s return this September 23rd at 9:00pm ET/PT on FOX.
