Following the Apple iPhone keynote reveal on Tuesday revealing new 5s and 5c models, the company has announced today Walmart stores will have their latest smartphones sold at the cheapest price of any retailer. The 16GB 5c will be discounted at $79, down from its original $99 price; while 16GB 5s models will drop down to $189.
Pre-orders begin Friday for the 5C and will be available for purchase on September 20. Those of you wanted to get the iPhone 5S will have to wait until its release date, as Apple didn’t make pre-orders available for their upgrade from the original 5.
Speaking of which, the iPhone 5 16GB model will now drop to $79 at Walmart, along with the iPhone 4s priced at just .97 cents. Like we said on twitter, if you have kids or baby moms in you surrounding, then this is something to seriously consider.
