Netflix movies just keep on getting bigger and bigger. With Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro’s upcoming The Irishman looking like a frontrunner for Best Picture, the streaming service has just revealed the first teaser trailer for War Machine. With a budget of $60 million and Brad Pitt as the lead, it’s a massive move.
Based on Michael Hastings’ 2012 book The Operators, the comedy drama film stars Pitt as U.S. general Dan McMahon who leads forces in Afghanistan in the 2000s.
War Machine arrives May 26th — co-stars include Topher Grace, Will Poulter, Tilda Swinton, Anthony Michael Hall, Ben Kingsley and Keith Stanfield.
