Are you excited for Godzilla vs. King Kong?
With their Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice film set to take over box offices next spring, Warner Bros. is already looking ahead to the future for another epic showdown. As previously reported last week, Universal Studios planned to rollout King Kong: Skull Island in 2017 until WB obtained rights to the project. Now they’ve agreed to unite with Universal subsidiary Legendary, to release Godzilla vs. Kong in 2020. However, before that mega-film arrives to the big screen, fans of both franchises an look for Skull Island on March 10, 2017, and then Godzilla 2 on June 8, 2018. The last Godzilla grossed $529 million worldwide, as Warner and Legendary will likely fork up well over $200 million investments for the epic blockbuster.
