Barry Allen’s coming soon to the big screen!
As Warner Bros. continues plans for pushing forward with the continuation in their DC Extended Universe, more news emerges for the upcoming official Flash film. The company has decided to go an entirely new direction with the movie, which is good news – considering how critics haven’t been too fond of the DCU last year. Warner has officially hired a new screenwriter, ridding away the original scrip that was submitted last October by Rick Famuyiwa.
With no director set in place either, Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Robin Hood: Origins) will rewrite the entire project this winter, as we’re assuming Cyborg and his love interest of Iris West will have significant increased roles after next fall’s Justice League. Look for more details on the DC blockbuster to emerge in the coming months.
