The Warriors coming to Hulu 2018?
1979 action-film, The Warriors has officially been adapted as a live-action series for HULU. Director’s behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, Joe and Anthony Russo, will transition the New York City theatrical tale into an hour-long episodic show.
According to Deadline, the digital adaption will add its own unique brand of grit, pulp, sex and violence, as the Russo brothers will direct the pilot episode. However, beyond that is unclear if the Marvel Entertainment will be overseeing the project beyond its premiere.
Neither Paramount TV or Hulu has given indication if they have a target date for the project or even a cast; but we can likely expect information to surface this month at San Diego Comic-Con.
