After 25 years, TV’s ground-breaking series Twin Peaks has received a revival from Showtime. The network has released its first teaser, which is set to air later tonight during the season finales of The Affair and Homeland. While it’s still in early productions, show creators and executive producers Lynch and Mark Frost gave fans a brief glimpse into the direction they’re reaching for.
Kyle MacLachlan is set to reprise his role as FBI agent Dale Cooper, as well as many other familiar faces past viewers will recognize. The northwestern-based story following FBI agent Cooper’s investigation of murdered homecoming queen, Laura Palmer, will continue when the series arrives during 2017.
