It’s about to be lit
There’s a show on ABC called American Crime, but it looks like FX has their own crime anthology series of the same name. American Crime Story will explore O.J. Simpson and infamous trial that made headlines across the world, claiming they will tell the real side of the story, not just what you saw through the trial on TV. Based on the trailer, you can see things are going to heat up for the first season, as they look back at how the former NFL player got acquitted for murder two decades ago.
They have some big name players starring too, with Cuba Gooding Jr. playing the role of O.J., David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian and John Travolta as Robert Shapiro. Sarah Paulson will also play the role of Marcia Clark.
The show was created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski and is co-executive produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk of American Horror Story fame.
American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson premieres Tuesday, February 2, 2016 on FX.
