Even though VICE is starting their own channel come next year, based on the fact they’re getting a fourth season on HBO, it doesn’t seem like that will be affecting their time with the cable network. At least not for now. Plus, you gotta think, not a lot of folks will be subscribed to the standalone channel, even if they do have cable.
For season four of the hit series, VICE is traveling the world and showing us stories that we don’t regularly see on the news. In the short trailer, we can see they are back at ground zero exploring the war in the middle east, asking what life on Mars would be like and attending the first Paris vigil since the terrorist attacks out there. They will also learn how to make bombs from a garage and advances in science.
The 18-episode new season premieres February 5 on HBO.
