Watch An Alternate Ending of ‘Juice’ With 2pac and Omar Epps

Can you believe that Juice is 25 years old already? The legendary film, which starred 2pac is releasing a deluxe edition BluRay for it’s quarter century anniversary that features commentary from those who were a part of the movie, including director Ernest R. Dickerson.

In this clip, Dickerson discusses the ending of the film, when Bishop is hanging by a thread to Q’s hand and staring death right in the face. Q is trying hard to save him but his hand keeps slipping. In the alternate ending, Bishop practically gives up the fight as soon as he hears the police sirens because he rather die than go to jail.

This was partly because Bishop’s life was shaped by the fact his father went to jail and he saw how much that affected him. He didn’t want to go out like a punk.

Just hearing this commentary makes us want to go back and watch the movie again.
