For about a month or more, FX has been teasing the new season of Snowfall on the network through a short clip with gun shots going off. Last night during the series finale of The Americans, we caught the full trailer for the show and it looks like all the stakes are up.
not only has Franklin created a business through the drug trade, but he becomes a certified boss in Season 2. The amount of powder he’s moving has significantly increased, the money he’s making is in another tax bracket and the heat on his operation is now on code red. Not only are street competitors looking to take him down, but the feds are close too.

In the new season of Snowfall, everyone is working toward their ultimate goals of money, power, and influence as we enter 1984 in Los Angeles. Franklin is starting to experience the perils of success, Teddy finds his off-book drug-funded operation may be vulnerable from unexpected sources, and the drug-running couple, Gustavo and Lucia, discover the potency of crack and try to exploit it.
John Singleton’s Snowfall premieres on FX on July 19.
