This December, hope lies in rebellion!
Thursday evening, during Olympic coverage on NBC, Lucasfilm and Disney premiered the official trailer for their upcoming holiday film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Unlike its first trailer last spring, which showcased an array of action sequences, we got some dialogue in the clip – as we get a look at Jyn Erso and her plans to steal the Death Star.
With the help of a team full of rebellious forces ready to make an attempt at taking down the First Galactic Empire, ahead of the events of the original 1977 Stars Film. The most intriguing part of the motion picture, is James Earl Jones finally reprising his role as the voice of Darth Vader for the first time in over 10 years; so we’re sure long-time fans will be rushing to the IMAX version.
Look for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in theaters this December 16th.
