Exactly a year ago, Showtime first announced plans to bring Andrew Clay back to television, for his own featured scripted series, DICE. Here, the veteran comedian plays himself in the new semi-autobiographical series, which has received an inaugural 6-episode order.
Throughout the show, Dice looks to resurrect his long-lost career, by moving his family to Las Vegas for a new start at life. However, with gambling debts hindering his progression, managing his son’s rock band, fending off fans and a stand-up career that’s having issues of properly rebooting – there’s plenty on Clay’s list of things to do in Sin City, not named sex, alcohol and drugs.
Look for this episode to air Sunday, April 10th, at 9:30pm ET/PT on Showtime.
