Too little, too late? Maybe so, but the once epic way of communicating, via Blackberry Messenger, has finally arrived for the iOS and Android platforms. What does this mean? Not much, besides the fact that WhatsApp and other apps have a little more competition in the market, but don’t worry, you won’t have to give out your email and/or phone number by using this. It works just like it used to, through a PIN code.
After numerous attempts to download through Google Play and the Apple app store, we found a simple trick to it all. Type in “BBM.com” into your phone browser and it’ll send you to a direct link to the app for download. Yup, it’s that easy.
And to think, we’ve been waiting weeks for them to roll out.
BBM IS BACK!
UPDATE: If you didn’t sign up at the website for updates, you will have to wait in queue for a spot in line to download the app. For those who did, your spot is already reserved and you will jump straight to the sign up process. Good luck!
