HBO has announced that Westworld has been renewed for a third season. The news arrives while season two is currently airing, following its premiere on April 22nd.
“It’s been an extraordinary pleasure to work with the exceptionally talented Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, as well as their gifted cast and crew,” says president of HBO Programming, Casey Bloys. “From the inspired storytelling to the incredible visuals, we are so excited to see where the next chapter will take us.”
There’s no word on when the third season will arrive, but the gap between the end of season one and start of season two was around a year and a half.
