Get the 411 about the new iPhone and iPad update
For those who have gotten an update notification or are looking to do that at some point today, you’re probably wondering what the new iOS 9 update is bringing to the iPhone.
There are a few tweaks that Apple brought to the operating system that you may notice, like the font and app switcher, which are bit different. The notifications menu is also sorted by newest, making a tad bit harder to clear in bulk but keep you up to date with the newest notifications first. You will also see a few new back menus and Siri has been made smarter so she can predict how you’re going to use your phone before you use it. Whether that’s showing latest contacts or most used apps.
Although iOS 9 isn’t revolutionizing anything and is pretty much following the ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it’ mentality, the few differences are setting up the future of Apple, which may show up on iPhone 7 next year. For now, we can all enjoy and play with the new OS in the next coming days until we figure out all the changes.
