After watching the damage she did for The Oscars, Ellen DeGeneres should be the front runner no matter how you slice it. The problem is, she’s locked in with her daytime talk show and it would take some major convincing to make her leave. Especially after her one year stint with American Idol. We’re sure she doesn’t like nights as much as we hope she will. And that was only two nights a week. Imagine five in a row?
Giving ELLEN the Late Show would certainly make a splash in late night TV, especially since she’d be the lone female on a major network.
