Stephen would be our borderline #1 Draft Pick, except for the controversy that he’s been going through lately that brought his stock down a bit. People everywhere have been outraged at the tweet that went up on his show account, even making #CancelColbert a trending topic for days on end. We’re sure after the controversy boils over, CBS will look past it. According to sources, he is the front runner for the job.
It might be just a matter of wanting a bigger check, more workload and having to do shit he doesn’t necessarily want to do (like interviews with movie stars he doesn’t even like). Being the heir to Late Show is might enticing, though.
