Vince McMahon has done it again. The Chairman of the WWE announced last night, that beginning on February 24, the WWE will launch their very own network. It will be the first ever 24/7 online streaming network of it’s kind and will feature not only all the WWE Pay-Per-Views, but also a multitude of original content daily.
One of the great features of the network is that you will be able to use it across a number of devices on day one, including PS4, Amazon Kindle, all iOS devices. Come this summer, Smart TV capabilities will be available, along with Xbox One.

Some of the key programming features available on the network will be exclusive post and pre-show content from WWE’s flagship shows Raw and Smackdown and its ability to stream all 12 PPV’s starting with the Wrestlemania 30. The WWE universe will also get to finally see the long-awaited reality program WWE Legends House, which highlights some of WWE’s greatest superstars competing outside the ring in a variety of competitions.
Possibly the most exciting part of the network though, is the inclusion of the full on-demand library, which will include every WWE/F, WCW, ECW PPV ever (even classic matches). That alone is worth the $9.99 per month fee, with a 6 month commitment).
Whether you are a fan of the WWE or not, it is undeniable that this network is paving the way for the future of online streaming services. Think about if other companies catch wind of this moving forward? It will change the way we view in-home entertainment forever. Tip the hat to Mr. McMahon and company for once again changing the game.
