The multi-media purpose latest home video game console from Microsoft will be developing original TV shows early this year. Xbox One produced content is expected to be highlighted by the Steven Spielberg produced Halo TV series as well as a TV tie-in for the console’s exclusive third-person shooter, Quantum Break. Before Xbox Entertainment Studios officially launches in a few weeks, Microsoft has tapped FX to premiere their new animated series Chozen.
The sarcastic comedy is created by the developers Eastbound & Down and will feature the likes of Bobby Moynihan, Method Man, Michael Peña, Hannibal Buress and more. Xbox One owners (who are subscribes of AT&T U-Verse, Comcast, Cablevision, Suddenlink and WOW services), will be able to watch the pilot episode on the consoles FXNow app tomorrow on January 6.
If your television provider isn’t on that list, you’ll have to wait 7 more days when the show airs on Mondays on FX beginning January 13th at 10:30pm ET/PT. You can check out the new trailer after the jump for a preview of what to expect.
