As kids, opening up the cassette and/or CD case was half the excitement with every new album that dropped and we bought. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are trying to bring that feel back to the digital age of iTunes downloads, by re-releasing The Heist (Deluxe Edition), equipped with three bonus tracks not found on the regular version.
The album packaging is a faux-gator skin box, which contains 18 cards inside. Each art crafted card matches the 18 songs on the album, to give you a better feel and understanding of every track on the project. They don’t make them like this anymore.
