Following the HBO world premiere of his “Picasso Baby” music video, Jay Z was featured as the next guest on the networks “Real Time with Bill Maher” series. During their nearly 30-minute conversation, the two touched on Hov’s most recent album “The Magna Carta Holy Grail,” which he opened up on the first song with Justin Timberlake “Holy Grail” being an ode to his biggest drug in music being fame. They also touched on Harry Belafonte voicing his opinion on Jay not doing enough for the urban communities, which he felt a simple phone call could’ve been made for the two to achieve
Bill brought up in 7-years; Jay will be eligible for the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame being the 25th anniversary of his debut album “Reasonable Doubt.” He wants to be inducted by Barack Obama, which will be after his current 2nd presidential term will conclude. Things transitioned to a debate over inner-city violence, politics and the government; which Hov sat back to grasp the debate before he jumped in the discussion for a few.
