Mac Miller Speaks On His $10 Million Dollar Lawsuit With Lord Finesse

After getting hit with a lawsuit by Lord Finesse over the use of his “Hip To The Game” instrumental for his K.I.D.S. mixtape, Mac Miller spoke to Sway about the origin of the court battle between the two, for those who weren’t aware of it.

Mac emphasizes that he did it out of the sheer love he has for Hip-Hop at a time when nobody was really checking for him and Finesse has now turned the situation into a negative one, even though the two have spoken about it and he tried to resolve the situation on his own. He still appreciates the OG’s showing love to him.

The suit is still on-going, but Mac has no animosity towards Finesse. He still reps Big L wherever he goes and even copped a Lord Finesse LP while he was out in Japan.

After the jump, he speaks on how much Lamont Coleman influenced him to make music.
