Word on the street is Datwon Thomas will make his return to XXL magazine as its new Editor-In-Chief.
Early in his career, Datwon was a music editor at the then fledgling hiphop publication. He helped pioneer the Eye Candy section of XXL, eventually spinning it off into King magazine. At one point, He was EIC at both King and Rides magazines. Needless to say he’s extremely qualified and no stranger to Harris Publications. If the rumors are true, let me be the first to publicly congratulate him.
The question still remains… What’s next for the big homey YN? I sure do miss his blog and all the publicist sonnage that came along with it.
