The Kooks
If you speak to anyone remotely interested in music around the mid-2000s in the UK, chances are they were a fan of The Kooks. As a childhood favorite of mine, I was delighted to find out they were performing in a tent as a special guest. Despite releasing a new album this year, there was a sense that most of the tent were letting out their inner-indie kid throughout the entirety set. The performance started off with one of my personal favorites, “Eddie’s Gun,” and was the start of a whirlwind journey through their catalog, with classics such as “Naïve” and “She Moves In Her Own Way” from 2006’s Inside In/Inside Out.
