Basement Jaxx
Over the weekend, there were certain acts who captured the true festival spirit, and Basement Jaxx were one of them, along with the likes of 2 Bears. It felt like a celebration more than anything, bringing out numerous special guests on stage and encouraging the crowd to join in the fun. After seeing them in a club previously, this was an obvious step back into their world music expertize, by making the most of an excitable festival audience. As an electronic act who started in the mid-90s, you have to admire their presence. “Never Say Never” was an example of that.
