Unless you’re a fan or read the credits from American Gangster, you probably didn’t know it was Bilal singing on “Fallin’.” Like most occasions, Oliver took charge of the chorus for Jay Z, who layed down vocals over a beat from No I.D. and Jermaine Dupri. His few lines talk about the decision to do something, even when you know there’s a consequence. In this case, it relates to Harlem drug kingpin, Frank Lucas.
