Reflection Eternal – Ends
Releasing an album 10 years after the first will always be a gamble, but some artists just know how to stick to their roots. Talib Kweli is one of those people, and Revolutions Per Minute was another example of that; despite some notable features, the project was all about him, Hi-Tek and the legacy they began in 2000. The Bilal-featured “Ends” is based on making money, but it’s not the typical trap song of this day and age. Who knows, maybe Reflection Eternal will carry on the tradition with a third album in 2020.
