Freddie Gibbs
Although Madlib wasn’t in attendance, Freddie Gibbs took a trip to London during the later stages of summer. No doubt gaining fans from his Piñata effort, one of the better albums of 2014, the Gary native hit the stage in an intimate setting at XOYO. Gibbs made use of the close crowd by interacting as much as possible, asking what else people would like to hear towards the end of his set and encouraging fans to rap along.
