Novelist
Novelist may have plenty of affiliates, but he distances himself from a lot of other grime acts coming out of London. The Lewisham emcee left his local group The Square not too long ago and he’s the type to experiment with random releases on SoundCloud. Novelist doesn’t have a mega single yet, but his 1 Sec EP with Mumdance (out on XL Recordings) was a big step, and he’s still only 19 years old.
Novelist is no stranger to the UK festival circuit either. Last year, he showed up on stage at Lovebox on a swegway.
