Skepta might not be a headliner, but he’s damn near the closest you can get to being one. After a busy two years projecting his sound across the globe (and building a notable friendship with Drake), Skepta will play the infamous Pyramid Stage on Friday afternoon with a 45-minute set. It’s a signal of just how far grime has come over the years and a chance to put his music on an even bigger scale.
Skepta has been shutting down festivals like Wireless and Lovebox for a minute, but with his Konnichiwa album out now, he’ll have even more reason to impress.
