10 Rappers to Check for at Glastonbury 2016

Vince Staples

The rise of Vince Staples has been great to watch, from his early days with Odd Future to putting out a debut album on Def Jam. This isn’t the first time Vince has performed in the UK, but it will definitely be his biggest show yet. The Long Beach rapper takes over the West Holts Stage at 4pm on Friday before the likes of Underworld and Roisin Murphy perform later on. He’s the only rapper on that stage so it will be his chance to shine.

Summertime ’06 will be the focus, but maybe he’ll treat fans to some new material from that upcoming Prima Donna EP. High hopes, but imagine if James Blake joined him for their collaboration. He performs on the Saturday so it wouldn’t be too mind-blowing (shout out Gucci Mane).
