For the pilot episode of the new MTV original series “This Is How I Made It,” rapper 2 Chainz and the star of the networks “Awkward” series Ashley Rickards are featured. In this video, the two open up about their journey to success having hardships early in life as well as their career proceeding to be household names.
2 Chainz even goes on to talk about the friendship he shares with Lil Wayne as the two released “Duffle Bag Boy,” a few years ago but didn’t translate into success for him. He used that as motivation to stay persistent in his quest to become one of the hip-hop heavyweights.
