2008 Grammy Award Winners & Performances

While accepting the Best Rap Album of the Year award, Kanye really got disrespected by the producers as they cued the “get the @#$! off” music 20 seconds in. Damn, can a black man get a chance? The Foo Fighters sure did.

Amy Winehouse killed it, performing her two smash hits off Back To Black via satellite in London. In case you didn’t know, Amy Winehouse is more gangster than your favorite rapper. Even shouted out her incarcerated husband Blake.

In the suprise (read: disappointment to anyone under the age of 45) of the night, Herbie Hancock won album of the year for an album no one knew existed a month ago.

In short, Kanye and Amy owned the night, Will.I.Am just ruined it.
