Overall, 2013 was a solid year for albums. I had a hard time choosing 10 at first, but when I went through every project that dropped this year, it actually became pretty hard to come up with a list of only 10. Pusha T & Boldy James albums both took care of my authentic street record needs, and I looked to Drake and John Legend for the good melodies and hooks. The hometown boys Dom Kennedy, Tyler The Creator and OverDoz all came through with dope albums, and Chance The Rapper delivered my favorite project of year with Acid Rap. Of course, Hov had to make the list with MCHG after breaking the internet and showing why he is still an influencers in music, period.
