Because I had such a difficult time with picking my top albums of the year, I figured I’d make it a little easier on myself by using some what of a cheat code, if you will, to help assist me in this process. I cracked open my iTunes application on my computer and scrolled on over to the “Plays” tab and clicked on it to see what songs I’ve been listening to the most throughout the year. Of course, not all were recent but after browsing up and down the playlist for a good hour or so, I was able to find some songs that got a key amount of plays and was satisfied on making them my list for top songs of the year. I almost felt like a rapper trying to figure out what the best songs would be for my debut album, which is a long thought out process, so I can only imagine what they go thru to please their fans and put out the best product they can.
The list you see here is what I was able to narrow down from the 40 some odd songs I originally had. Trust, there were plenty of them to chose from and if I could have made this list a few songs longer, I most certainly would have. For now, just enjoy the list of the 15 records I was rocking out to for a greater part of 2013.
