2pac Biopic To Begin Production Early 2014 In Atlanta

Earlier today, Morgan Creek Productions and Emmett Furla Films (who will co-finance and co-produce the film) made the formal announcement of the long-awaited Tupac Shakur biography movie to finally begin. Starting early next year, production will launch after years of negotiation complications for creative control; but that has now ended with Afeni Shakur serving as the executive producer of the movie.

There’s no word on who will be the director or actor starring Pac; but in the past, Antoine Fuqua (Training Day director) had been linked to take part in the project. In comparison to the Paramount Pictures and MTV Films 2003 documentary “Tupac: Resurrection”, the new film will chronicle his life and death unlike the narration movie showcasing different events and interviews during his rap career.

Stay tuned for more news regarding the film, which we hope to soon find out who will be starring and directing the reboot project.
