Watch Never-Before-Seen Footage from 2pac’s Rare Interview with MTV News

Fans of 2pac are familiar with this classic interview with 2pac and MTV News where he’s walking at the Venice Beach boardwalk with Tabitha Soren to talk a myriad of topics. Up until now, the 1995 clip was short but potent. To commemorate the 23rd anniversary of his death, MTV has decided to release the full 20-minute interview with the late rapper.

Across the span of their talk, he starts by explaining where his name came from, before talking about his move to California and why he dropped out of art high school.

He also speaks on his mother’s cocaine addiction, his biological father, how his life would be different under different circumstances, selling drugs and his desire to have kids. He also tried on sunglasses, signs autographs and gets a tattoo while the cameras were rolling.
