Blast From The Past
Bestival knows how to pick a strong selection of artists; even those you would never expect to see. Sunday saw the one and only Jacksons take to the Main Stage, where Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon performed a bunch of hits from their catalog and paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson.
Shortly before that, the infamous Craig David, one of the UK’s biggest names of the 2000s, hit the stage in the Bollywood Tent. Craig started his set off with Pharoahe Monch, followed by Nas and Dr. Dre and working in his own hits like “Fill Me In” and “Seven Days.” How many artists do you see DJing and singing at the same time?
Even though they’ve been active lately with a new album, Duran Duran ran through their catalog on the main stage. Level 42 were even there for a set.
