MTV recently caught up 50 Cent to find out about the status of his upcoming fifth studio album “Street King Immortal.” Highlighted by the album’s most recent single with Kendirck Lamar for “We Up”; Fiddy feels the single didn’t receive that same response he got from previous efforts like we saw on “In Da Club” and “I Get Money.”
He briefly discussed how he has no margin of era to release sub-par to just get it out and has chosen to put the album on hold until he feels the energy is right for the project like he’s had in the past. Money’s obviously not the reason, but with an over-saturation of artist emerging in the game at the highest alarm rate ever; we hope Fif finds that right smash soon rather than later.
