Are you ready for the 56th GRAMMY Awards? Tonight at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!” on CBS unveiled all of this year’s nominees. The show was hosted by LL Cool J and also saw performances from the likes of Miguel and Keith Urban, Lorde, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke and Macklemore with Ryan Lewis. Throughout the show, an array of artists revealed the nominations in some of this year’s biggest GRAMMY categories and like every year, some got snubbed.
In good news, Kendrick Lamar was nominated for Album of the Year (and six other different categories), Pharrell and Justin Timberlake are up for seven nominations and JAY Z leads the pack with a grand spanking total of nine this year. Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis are also up for seven nominations, including Song of the Year and Best Rap Album. Drake and Daft Punk are also in the running with five each.
