6ix9ine – Tattle Tales [Free Album Stream]
6ix9ine will not diss JAY-Z following Tattle Tales album, after controversy with Apple Music and Spotify. During 6ix9ine’s original run, he was blackballed from the industry, with not being allowed to perform at various venues.
While having an international base before he blew up in the states, fans had never seen him in a large stadium. This lasted until September 2018, at Jay-Z’s Made in America show, when it was his first ever performance at a large festival.
Beforehand, many thought Jay-Z wouldn’t allow him to perform at the show, due to affiliates of certain parties. However, his brief show became the biggest streamed concert of the entire event.
So, Coachella, Summer Jam and others had no plans of ever allowing him on their stage. He even had to sneak into Powerhouse at as a guest, which coincidentally took place at Barclays Center.
After the shooting incident during the Adrien Broner fight, this put more heat on the situation. Jay-Z went out of his way to bulk up security for the event and allow 6ix9ine a platform to showcase himself to the masses.
This lasted an entire weekend, where he even received private security from Jay and Live Nation to stay the weekend and make a surprise cameo for Nicki Minaj.
Now, this weekend 6ix9ine voiced his frustrations with Apple Music and Spotify over lack of promotion for his Tattle Tales album. He believes this is hindering his streaming sales, although he’s still projected to debut as the no. 1 album next week, when the numbers are released.
TIDAL streaming, which is ran by Jay-Z is the only streaming service, outside of YouTube, that gave him playlist placement. In the rant, he didn’t mention TIDAL and has stopped trolling Meek Mill on social media, after bigger authority stepped in.
Although Jay has never publicly acknowledged 6ix9ine, he hasn’t stepped in the way of Tekashi from making money; something he believes many people are doing.
