A Look Back At Some of Dr. Dre’s Old Videos

Been There Done That

Back when Dr. Dre split from Death Row and started Aftermath Entertainment, there was a lot of pressure for him to succeed. His first compilation album that some don’t think is part of his catalog (because it was a certified flop), was Dr. Dre Presents the Aftermath. He had some hard tracks on there but it wasn’t received nearly as well as The Chronic. Dre wouldn’t stay down for long, though. He struck gold with Eminem and 50 Cent shortly after.

At 4:18 when the beat changes in the video, that’s a beat from another standout on the effort. Shoutout to Ras Kass and Mack 10 (alongside Dre) on “Ghetto Fabolous.”
