It really pained our hearts when we saw Andre 3000 almost comdemn the recent Big Boi remixes on tracks he was featured on, deeming it “not an Outkast reunion.” Maybe they weren’t, but there was no need to kill the hopes of fans worldwide.
Ever since, we’ve been bumping classic Outkast tracks to make up for it, taking it back to the good days of Andre 3000 and Big Boi. You know, the ATLien, Aquemini to Southerplayalisticcadillacmuzik and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below days. It’s been more than a decade since they blessed us with a collective effort, and far too long if you asked us.
No worries, though. At least we have the old catalog to hold us over. Classic albums and tracks throughout their career make us wish for more, but leave us satisfied if they were never to put another album out again. Pray for better days.
